X'MAS ISLAND.
I think my life is out to prove that everything I say is wrong.
Well, some of it works in my favour anyway. Thank you life.

Remember when I said I wouldn't be able to retake my IC photo?
I retook it.
At a trustworthy, professional studio.
Not at a makeshift booth at a pharmacy with rough white paper background and a crappy digital camera and a salesgirl with an even crappier attitude.
Take that, life.

Remember when I said I would never be able to get into Christmas Island project work?
I got in, and I was so relieved to have secured a project work.
I must convey many, many thanks and apologies to many, many people who have tolerated my endless and paranoid complaining.
Namely Tessa, Sarah, Abigail and Charlene (Edit: And Nicole too!). And I'm so sorry for suffocating your wrist while trying to find my name on the list, Sarah.
Heh, yeah.
Take that, life.

So today's been a busy day.
Woke up at about six thirty to go to the ICA building which opens at about, eight?
Got my IC photo problem fixed and extended my passport for Christmas Island. Ma and Kai also had to things to settle with their passports.
It was already quite crowded, and we prepared for a 3 hour wait.
In the end everything took about an hour.
So with some free time on our hands, we went to Bugis and had J.CO donuts. Since we came early, the donuts were fresh and we had the whole cafe to ourselves.
There's nothing better than that.
Take that, life.

Then later I went for choir.
I'm new, so it was pleasant when I realised today that there were three (maybe more?) other SCGS girls in the choir.
I was so scared that I'd be the awkward one, and now I know I'm not so different. :)
Take that, life.

I'm really thankful for what's been happening around lately.
I hope it doesn't last. ;)
Hohoho reverse psychology FTW.
Take that, life.

... and I hope it doesn't hurt.
